  Welcome to Uncle Jack's favorite page, most of these items I use myself on a daily basis and I am excited to share these helpful products with you.  Some of these items were hard to find and it took some time to find a source that would sell to me,  so that I could offer these products at  reasonable prices. If you do not have a direct need for these items for yourself, they make very thoughtful gifts.

     Unlike quad or single tip cane bases, the "Tripod All Terrain Cane Base" will not get caught in board walks, sewer grates or  in man hole covers.  The ergonomic design of the  " Tripod All Terrain Cane Base" contours to your foot, while the awkward rectangular shapes of other cane bases tend to interfere with your foot as you walk. The unique design of the  " Tripod All Terrain Cane Base" enables the user to lean into the cane as they walk experiencing both support and balance.     
     The cane user may now walk with better stability in grass, gravel and sand. Yes I said sand. The "Tripod All Terrain Cane Base" can support your cane as you walk on the beach !

    The tip that is being sold is for the most common size cane that has a diameter of 3/4".  You may check the diameter of your cane by removing the current tip and measuring the widest distance across the end.  If your cane is not 3/4" diameter at the tip please E-Mail Uncle Jack and we can set up a special order so you can buy your proper size.

    On a personal note: I searched nearly a year to find this product and I have used it myself now for two summers on Cape May, NJ beaches, and it works fantastic.   I am very excited to share this product with you !

This device is a must if you have an impairment, illness or are aged and live alone. I have a neighbor who lives alone, who had fallen and laid on the floor for three days until we realized we had not seen her for a while. We had to break in to her home to rescue her, thank God she had no permanent injuries. She purchased this device and since then has used it three times. If you take a lot of medications or tend to get them confused this is for you. This lets you sit down and organize you medications and plan them on a weekly basis. I personally take 14 separate medication including vitamins. I have 5 of these and fill these every 5 weeks, just due to the convenience of doing the task every 5 weeks instead of weekly.  In any in event with a lot of medications this weekly planner is a much safer way to take your medications then on a daily or one at a time method.
